Navigation & Site Framework
The global header and footer were implemented as part of the New Orleans redesign to organize the site's content around trip planning, food, events, and local stories. My work focused on translating the design into a multi-level navigation system with editorial highlights, while the footer consolidates travel resources, partner links, and destination information for a consistent experience across the site.
A CITY OF FLAVOR AND SOUND
Destination Listings Interface
New Orleans restaurants, venues, and landmarks are surfaced through a dynamic listings interface connected to structured data from Simpleview's CRM. As part of the redesign, I contributed to extending the legacy jQuery implementation into a Vue component system, introducing filters such as price and nightlife attire along with CMS configuration for controlling visible filters and predefined queries.
Stories from the city
Editorial Marquee
An editorial marquee component for our CMS submodule to support blog storytelling with rich media. The module automatically adapts between six layouts depending on the number of assets and opens them in a slider-style viewer for larger browsing with captions and credits. The component inherits each site’s visual language while remaining reusable across clients.
A City Worth Exploring
Working on the New Orleans platform meant helping bring one of the most vibrant cities in the world online. Contributing to features that showcase its food, music, neighborhoods, and culture made the project both creatively rewarding and technically memorable.
